Rachel’s Challenge coming to FHS 9/22/10!

ON Wednesday 9/22/10, Franklin High School will host Rachel’s Challenge, a national organization founded by Darrell Scott, that is devoted to providing programs that support positive school cultures and combat violence and bullying. Darrell Scott, founder of Rachel’s Challenge started the organization after his daughter Rachel became the first victim of the Columbine High School Massacre in 1999. Rachel’s Challenge programs support the school environment by communicating the simple message to students that they can “Create a Chain Reaction” of kindness at school, home and in the community. Rachel’s Challenge has received national recognition for their programs over the years and I encourage you to read more about Rachel’s Challenge prior to the 22nd.
